LiDAR, depth cameras, force sensors — the expensive eyes of the robot.
A humanoid's sensor suite — 3D LiDAR, depth cameras, force-torque sensors, IMUs — can represent a large fraction of the robot's value, and these components are fragile by nature: lenses scratch, LiDAR motors wear, calibration drifts.
Coverage should include recalibration, not just replacement — a new depth camera that isn't calibrated to the robot is a paperweight. Sensor cleaning and alignment as maintenance items are a plus.
Exclusion watch: 'cosmetic damage' clauses that deny scratched lenses, and any requirement to use only OEM calibration services at OEM prices without covering those prices.

It should — an uncalibrated sensor is a non-functional one. Cheap plans replace the part and skip calibration; good plans include both.
